Frequently asked questions

What photo size does SSC need?expand_more

Checked against the SSC CGL 2026 notice: the application module captures a live photo, so there is no photo file to upload. The pre-2025 pattern was 3.5 × 4.5 cm (413 × 531 px), 20–50 KB JPEG - this tool still matches that pattern. Always compare with the latest official notification.

How do I reduce my photo for SSC?expand_more

Upload your photo, drag and zoom until your face is centred, then download. The tool lowers the JPEG quality until the file fits the KB limit.

What about the SSC signature?expand_more

Commonly published: 10–20 KB • 2026 notice: about 6 × 2 cm (main text) vs about 4 × 2 cm (Annexure-IV). Open the signature resizer with the right preset already selected.
